We produce a low volume of high quality hardwood lump charcoal at Young Wood, using ash, hazel and willow harvested sustainably by our volunteer groups as part of the conservation management of our woodland.

Our charcoal is made entirely by hand in the traditional way, in a 6ft ring kiln, and packed for barbecue use in hand-printed paper bags.

Barbecue charcoal is available in 2kg bags, for £5.00 per bag.  To order bags please contact Gavin.

We can also provide restaurant or artists' charcoal to order by arrangement.
