Volunteers are an essential part of our Wellbeing programmes, supporting our small staff team during sessions by providing a friendly face, chatting to participants, helping with craft activities, cooking, and keeping the kettles filled! We ask all wellbeing volunteers to come to briefing / induction sessions during the year (at least one), to participate in some training that we are running and to complete a DBS check. In return, you will learn about the Forest School approach, or if you are qualified you will gain experience and help shape our work. You will also learn about our approach to nature and wellbeing, a bit about ecotherapy and you will be part of our daily check-ins and reviews. |
