Friday Mornings 9.30 - 11.00am £12 per child & £6/sibling (babes-in-arms free) Led by Jo Hinds Based on Forest School principles, these year round sessions support child development, nature connection, social interaction and good old fashioned play. Each week features a seasonal theme aligned with children's interests. For parents or carers, it offers an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with like-minded individuals in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. Our base in Young Wood, on the Blackdown Hills near Taunton in Somerset, has its own facilities - compost loos with baby changing space, car park and camp kitchen. Sessions take place in all weathers so that children can get the full benefits of being outdoors with shelter in our roundhouse or under tarps on rainy days. Led by experienced Forest School leaders, helped by our volunteers who are all DBS checked and have relevant experience. There are spaces! Contact Jo for information. Jo@nerochewoodlanders.org. |
