Note: we prioritise schools for bookings first

Woodland Activity Days

Neroche Woodlanders are running four Winter Activities days for children as part of the Happy Health Holidays scheme.

These Activity Days are for children aged 5 - 11 and free transport is provided, with various bus picks available.

Places are FREE for children on free school meals or who are thought to be vulnerable in another way. The school will give you a voucher code to make a booking and they can help you book.

Transport will be provided.

Transport to the woods just outside Taunton will be provided.

Times: Pickups from 9.15am, return approx 3pm

Parents will need to make sure their children get on the bus and are appropriately dressed in old/mucky clothes, long trousers/leggings and shoes/trainers/wellies. (NO shorts, or sandals). We can lend waterproofs and some wellies if it rains.

Weather: We run in all weathers (except extreme storms) so your child needs to come dressed in warm clothes they can make muddy, long trousers/leggings and outdoor footwear.

Activities will include: learning about nature, exploring the woods, den building, crafts, quiet area, campfire cooking and free play space.

Food:

Breakfast- Toast, cereal or fruit;

Lunch - pasta, sauce, cheese, tuna, salad or wraps.

Children can be booked for more than one session if there is space.  Information on how to book coming soon!
