The Greenwood Club is an informal, friendly evening gathering for anyone interested in green woodworking. We meet at Young Wood once a fortnight, on a Tuesday evening, 6pm - 8pm. It costs £8 per person per session, and sessions are usually led by Gavin Saunders. Green woodwork is an engrossing, accessible craft, using hand tools to carve green (fresh) wood to create unique, individual pieces of work - spoons, pots, stools, lettering, walking sticks, or many other things. At our Club you can start from scratch, get some individual tuition, or pursue an individual project. |
