Forest School For Home Education Families 


We have space to run Forest School for families who are Home Educating,

  Each session will be influenced by the weather, the season and those who come.

Forest School is about process as much as products and being able to make mistakes and learn from them - so we encourage everyone to have a go and to try new things.

The kinds of things we might do include:

  • Explore the woods and learn to ID trees, flowers, animal tracks and signs
  • Practice tool-work skills on simple craft projects
  • Fire-making and tending
  • Shelter-building and camps
  • Campfire cooking
  • Children do not need to be accompanied by parents (this is not a families session); the sessions will be designed for and with the young people.

Cost: £15 per child
